This training introduces Microsoft 365 Copilot to beginners and business users who want to understand how AI can support everyday work across Microsoft 365 apps such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and OneNote.

Module 1: Introduction to Microsoft 365 Copilot

- How Copilot uses prompts to generate, summarize, analyze, and transform content.
- Examples of business use cases: drafting documents, summarizing meetings, reviewing emails, analyzing data, and creating presentations.
Module 2: Prompting Basics for Business Users
- Use a simple prompt structure: goal, context, instructions, and format.
- Improve prompts through iteration and follow-up questions.
- Practice prompts for everyday tasks such as summarizing, rewriting, brainstorming, and creating action plans.
Module 3: Copilot in Word and PowerPoint
- Draft, rewrite, summarize, and refine business documents in Word.
- Create outlines, proposals, reports, and standard operating procedures.
- Generate presentation outlines, speaker notes, and slide content in PowerPoint.
- Refine tone and messaging for different business audiences.
Module 4: Copilot in Excel
- Ask questions about data in natural language.
- Identify trends, outliers, and key insights.
- Create formulas, summaries, and basic visual explanations.
- Use Copilot to support business analysis and decision-making.
Module 5: Copilot in Outlook and Teams
- Summarize long email threads and draft professional replies in Outlook.
- Prepare for meetings by reviewing relevant context.
- Summarize Teams meetings, identify decisions, and extract action items.
- Create follow-up messages, status updates, and task lists.
Module 6: Responsible Use, Security, and Best Practices
- Review Copilot outputs before using or sharing them.
- Understand that Copilot responses may use web content and work content that the user has permission to access.
- Avoid entering unnecessary sensitive or confidential information into prompts.
- Use clear human judgment for business decisions, compliance, and customer-facing content.
Module 7: Hands-on Business Scenario Practice
- Scenario 1: Draft a project update email from meeting notes.
